Stanislava Pinchuk said:

“I am honoured to become an Affiliated Fellow of the American Academy in Rome, to find the extensive time and support to begin localised research and production works, and embrace the challenge of examining Roman posthomerica in such a dynamic and thorough academic environment.”

Simon Mordant AO said:

“Stanislava Pinchuk is one of Australia’s most compelling contemporary artists, with a practice that thoughtfully engages with history, politics and human experience through remarkable technical and conceptual innovation. We are delighted to support her residency at the American Academy in Rome and look forward to seeing how this opportunity further enriches and expands her practice.”

Creative Australia Chair Wesley Enoch AM said:

“The Mordant Family and Creative Australia Fellowship at the American Academy in Rome provides Australian artists with a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in an internationally renowned creative environment, fostering artistic development, cultural exchange and global connections. Stanislava Pinchuk’s ambitious and interdisciplinary practice makes her an outstanding recipient for this Fellowship.”

Aliza Wong, Director, American Academy in Rome said:
